Wynand, from Cape Town, South Africa, graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a Bachelor of Accounting degree, followed by an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree. He qualified as a professional accountant and registered with the South African Institution of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in 2018.
Wynand started his auditing career in 2015 with Moore Stellenbosch (South Africa) before moving to Baker Tilly (Cayman) Ltd. in 2021. He has over 9 years of audit experience, primarily asset management and private operating business sectors, with an in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
Wynand’s audit experience extends to but is not limited to private equity, venture capital, distressed debt, structured products, derivative instruments, listed and private bonds, and equities.
