Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Sean graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2017 and a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) degree in 2018.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) through the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in 2022. He began his career at Pyper Turner Inc. in 2019, completing his SAICA articles and later serving as Audit Manager before joining Baker Tilly Cayman in 2024.
His portfolio includes captive insurance companies, CIMA-regulated trust and management companies, and local operating entities with experience in IFRS Accounting Standards, IFRS for SMEs, U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
