Ross is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and registered as a Licensed Practitioner with the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA).
Ross has over 10 years of experience in audit beginning his career with KPMG in the UK and spending a year in internal audit at Zurich Insurance before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2017, where he spent over 3 years with KPMG. He joined Baker Tilly Cayman in 2021.
Since Ross moved to the Cayman Islands, he has specialized in the audit of captive insurance companies and CIMA regulated Trust and Management companies. As well as local operating companies, including various public sector entities.
Ross leads engagement teams working on assurance engagements under various financial reporting standards including:
- IFRS Accounting Standards (IFRS)
- U.S. GAAP
- IFRS for SMEs Accounting Standard
- International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS)
