Richard is an Australian Chartered Accountant with over twenty years of experience providing assurance and other services to both public and private corporations operating in a wide range of industries including hedge funds, captive insurance, manufacturing, and software.
Richard started his career with KPMG Sydney’s audit practice. Richard then moved to the KPMG British Virgin Islands practice on a two-year placement specializing in audits of offshore hedge funds and captive insurance companies. Richard has since spent a combined total of almost four years as a Senior Manager in the alternative investment practices of KPMG in the Cayman Islands and Toronto, before joining Baker Tilly Cayman in May 2011.
Richard has extensive experience in auditing and advising in a number of industries, specializing in hedge funds, private equity funds, and other alternative investment structures under US GAAP, IFRS, and Canadian GAAP.
