Pierre, originally from Cape Town, South Africa, holds both a Bachelor’s and Honours degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University. He began his auditing career at PKF Cape Town in 2019, where he gained broad exposure to private operating companies across multiple industries. In January 2022 Pierre qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and advanced to Audit Manager, developing skills in project management, team leadership, and client relationship building.
In late 2023, Pierre joined Baker Tilly Cayman, where he now specializes in auditing mutual funds and private equity funds under both IFRS and US GAAP. He further strengthened his international credentials by registering with the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants in January 2025.
