Michaela is a Chartered Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants. Michaela started her career as a trainee accountant at Deloitte in South Africa in 2018, before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, moving to the Cayman Islands, and joining Baker Tilly in 2021.
With over six years of auditing experience across various industries, most recently in the audit of funds registered in the Cayman Islands, but also in the automotive, manufacturing, and agriculture industries, Michaela is well-versed in both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
