Marena is a South African Chartered Accountant with over five years of experience providing assurance services, primarily in the investment funds industry.
Marena started her auditing career in 2019 with Baker Tilly Greenwoods and moved to Baker Tilly Cayman in 2022. She has knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), with experience specialising in the audit of private and public companies in various sectors including offshore hedge funds, private equity funds and other alternative investment structures.
