Jonyke, originally from Cape Town, South Africa, graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2017, followed by an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2018. She qualified as a professional accountant and registered with the South African Institution of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in 2021 as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
Jonyke started her auditing career in 2019 with Baker Tilly in Cape Town and moved to Baker Tilly Cayman in 2021. She has over five years of audit experience with an in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). She has experience in the audit of private and public companies in various sectors including insurance, operating, manufacturing, construction, transportation, and agriculture.
