Brittany Karlson is a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with over five years of audit experience across South Africa and the Cayman Islands.
Her professional journey began in 2021 at Ernst & Young in Cape Town, where she spent three years auditing publicly listed entities across a wide range of industries, including insurance, retail, not for profit organizations, and financial services. In 2023, she qualified as a South African Chartered Accountant and subsequently transitioned to Baker Tilly Cayman. Brittany currently specializes in the insurance, captive insurance, and operating company sectors and is an active member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA).
She has extensive experience delivering audit services in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), IFRS for Small and Medium Sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs), and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
